Here you will find all that we do, from the
beginning of the year to the end all over the course of two pages. On
this page you will find out about the beginning of the year and what we
do monthly. On the other page you will find information about our
fundraisers, the camps we attend, and the end of the year. Naturally,
the link 'Beginning' will put you here, and 'End' will take you to the
other page. Enjoy!
At the beginning of every year, student officers
are elected by the student members to run the club. Each position has
its own responsibilities and the officers that hold them are expected
to assume those responsibilities and carry them out throughout their
term.
The club officers then create the year's theme.
The theme, in association with the mission statement, becomes the
underlying message of the Serteen activities, particularly the camps.
The officers, mainly the Vice President of
Programs in correlation with the Vice President of Sponsorship and Vice
Predisent of Finance, create the service projects, socials, and
fundraisers. Adult volunteer advisors, members of the Serteen Alumni,
also give their input on these events.

Once a month there is a general meeting from 1-3
p.m at St. Andrew's Priory. At the meeting we are told updates within
the club, information for future events, and have a guest speaker which
is usually the highlight of the meeting. We also have a service project
once a month. It has ranged from speaking at the State Legislature
Board of Education to tsunami relief donations, to things like beach
clean-ups and helping out at Shriner's Hospital. After most service
projects we also have a social, a time to hang out and get to know your
fellow Serteens. Usually there are food, games, and other activities.
